Aleph is a decentralized cloud platform, paid for in crypto across several chains including Ethereum, Solana and Polygon. It sells VPS instances and GPU instances, but also serverless functions and confidential VMs running inside hardware-attested Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).
Amazon Lightsail is a virtual private server product launched in 2016 by Amazon Web Services, the cloud division of Amazon.com. It sells fixed-price bundles pairing vCPUs, memory, SSD storage and a monthly data transfer allowance, in Linux and Windows editions, alongside managed databases, object storage and load balancers. It runs from a subset of AWS regions in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and South America.
Cherry Servers is a bare-metal cloud provider founded in 2015 and headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. It rents single-tenant dedicated servers and virtual machines by the hour or month from datacenters in Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, the United States, Singapore and Japan.
Contabo is a German hosting provider founded in 2003 in Munich, where Contabo GmbH is headquartered, and known as Giga-International until 2013. KKR acquired a majority stake in 2022, with Oakley Capital keeping a minority. It sells cloud VPS, virtual dedicated servers, storage VPS and dedicated servers from its own datacenters in Munich and Nuremberg and from further locations in the United Kingdom, the United States, Asia and Australia.
Exoscale is a Swiss cloud provider run by Akenes SA, a company founded in 2011 and headquartered in Lausanne, and a member of A1 Digital, part of the A1 Telekom Austria Group. It sells compute and GPU instances alongside managed Kubernetes, managed databases, and object and block storage, from zones in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia.
GreenCloudVPS is the storefront of GreenCloud, a hosting provider established in October 2013 and operated by 365 Group LLC, registered in Lewes, Delaware. It sells KVM VPS, dedicated-core EPYC VDS, Windows and macOS VPS, dedicated servers and proxies, from datacenters in the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Australia, on its own network, AS400616.
Hetzner is a German hosting provider founded in 1997 and run by Hetzner Online GmbH, headquartered in Gunzenhausen, Bavaria. It sells dedicated root servers, cloud servers, web hosting, managed servers and storage, from datacenter parks in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany, a datacenter in Helsinki, Finland, and further locations in Ashburn, Virginia, Hillsboro, Oregon, and Singapore.
HostArmada is a US hosting provider selling cloud VPS and dedicated-CPU plans alongside shared, reseller, WordPress and Magento hosting. Its servers run from datacenters in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
IPServer is a hosting provider operating since 2007, renting dedicated servers and KVM virtual servers. It runs its own Supermicro hardware in Moscow and takes its other locations from third-party datacenters in Europe and the United States, and holds LIR status with RIPE NCC. It bills in euros or roubles, and accepts cards, PayPal, bank transfer and cryptocurrency.
Linode is a cloud hosting company founded in 2003 in Philadelphia, making it one of the earliest VPS providers. It was acquired by Akamai Technologies in 2022 and now operates as part of Akamai’s cloud computing services, selling virtual machines alongside dedicated CPU and GPU instances.
Mevspace is a Polish hosting provider, registered in Warsaw, where it runs its own datacenter. It rents VPS cloud instances, dedicated servers, private and public cloud, and colocation. It accepts payment by card, PayPal and cryptocurrencies.
OVHcloud is a French cloud provider founded in 1999 by Octave Klaba and headquartered in Roubaix, where it builds its own servers and runs its own datacenters across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. It sells virtual private servers, dedicated and GPU servers, and public cloud instances, and also trades under the Kimsufi, So you Start and Eco brands.
ScalaHosting is a hosting company launched in 2007 and based in Dallas, Texas. It sells managed and unmanaged cloud VPS alongside shared, reseller and WordPress hosting, and writes its own server software, including the SPanel control panel and the SShield security add-on.
Scaleway is a French cloud provider headquartered in Paris and owned by the iliad Group. It traces back to Online.net, founded in 1999, and runs its own datacenters in Europe, offering virtual instances, bare metal servers, and GPU instances with EU data residency.
SeedVPS is a VPS hosting provider operated by Eldar Perez trading as SeedVPS, a RIPE NCC member registered in Israel. It sells KVM virtual servers in two ranges, SSD VPS and HDD-backed Storage VPS, and runs them in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on its own network, AS199701.
Vultr is a US cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2014, headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida, and operated by The Constant Company. It sells cloud compute instances, bare metal servers, and GPU instances across datacenters in North America, Europe, Asia, and other regions.
